Issue two of Rue magazine came out yesterday.  I thoroughly enjoyed the second half of the magazine.  The first half was not really design related so I didn't really care for it too much.  These are some of my favorite pictures from this issue! 

Also, Do you see that rug in the last picture?  I have had this picture of that rug saved for awhile now.  I love it but have no idea who makes it!  Can anybody tell me where I can find this rug?!

I am so impressed by these rooms designed by Shannon Wollack creator of Life.Style and editor of the new online magazine High Gloss.  All these rooms are fun yet beautiful.   I really love her style.  I wish her website had more images of her decor portfolio so I could see more of her beautiful work!

The new issue of Lonny came out yesterday! I can't decide if I should go ahead and read it today after work or wait until Wednesday morning (my day off) and enjoy it with my cup of coffee. Tough decision. Happy Monday!

Have you seen the new online shelter mag Adore out of Australia?!  I love the premier issue...It's a little short but I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Now I have another magazine to add to my ever growing list!  These are some of my favorite images from the first issue...

magazines

I kind of have a slight addiction to magazines.  Mostly shelter mags with a few others thrown in.  I currently subscribe to five magazines (the ones pictured above).   Is that too many?  Those aren't the only magazines I read either.  I tend to buy a lot at Barnes and Noble as well...then there are the online magazines like Lonny and Rue (but those don't really count, right?).  I'm starting to wonder if I have a problem.  Can you really like magazines too much though?  What do you think?

rue-la-la

So, I am excited about the premiere issue of rue magazine coming out next week! I think it's awesome that a group of bloggers are making a dream of theirs into a reality. I am intrigued to see the magazine's layout, articles, and overall feel. It looks like the creators have put a lot of time and effort into making this a great magazine from the images "leaked" out into blog land. Still, I can't help but feel like I'm waiting to see how it compares to Lonny. What are your thoughts on rue? Do you rue?
