So happy it is Friday.  My little brother is graduating from high school this weekend!  I can't believe it.  I still think of him as a little kid but he is now getting ready for college and "the real world." 

I'm excited to be spending time with my family this weekend!  Hope everyone has a lovely Memorial Day weekend!

Thank goodness I am not working today.  I went to the beach yesterday (yay!) but didn't use sunscreen like I am supposed to.  My back is fried (boo!).   Today I will be staying indoors and applying LOTS of aloe vera.  Hopefully tomorrow I will look slightly less like a lobster.

i'm in love.

I'm in love with this apartment which belongs to DC interior designer Sara Tuttle. The whole place is TO DIE FOR.  I know this little apartment is flying around the blogosphere but I had to hop on the bandwagon cause I just love it.  I'm amazed every time I look at her lovely little abode.

A touch of pink...

Every girl needs a touch of pink in their lives...don't you think? Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I worked all weekend so I'm glad to have the day off today :) I'll be working on re-painting my headboard for my bedroom. I'm painting it white again because the wood stain is coming through my first paint job. Hopefully I'll get the right primer this time to prevent any future problems! I'll post some pictures when it is back in my room. Happy Monday!

Monday...Monday...

I'm feeling very girly today...can you tell?! Just what I need on a Monday :) I'm so glad I have two days off after working four days in a row over the weekend. I plan to relax and enjoy my days off and maybe work on my "new" old bedroom a bit! I will also be perusing the Pottery Barn Dining Spaces book my lovely friend Allyson sent me today (thanks again Allyson!!). Hope everyone is having a lovely Monday!
