lately.

This past weekend Sean and I traveled to Charleston to see my little brother get married. The wedding was lovely and I am so happy for my brother and his new wife! I love that my family is growing as we all get married. It makes our family gatherings much more fun! Needless to say, we had a wonderful time with family in our favorite city.

While in Charleston, we decided to treat our trip like a mini vacation and stayed in a rental downtown. We found this quaint and perfectly decorated little Freedman cottage on airbnbIt even had a fiddle leaf fig tree. I was in love. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing stay.

Happy Monday friends.

a beautiful day.

This past weekend my older brother tied the knot in Charleston, SC.  It was such a beautiful day.  I am so happy for him and my new sister-in-law.

weekend.

I had a great weekend at home with my family filled with lots presents, food, and fun times.  A perfect Christmas in my book.  Hope you all had a lovely Christmas weekend too!

Happy Monday!

holiday weekend.

I can't believe the holiday weekend is already over.  I had a great Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.  I am so thankful to have such wonderful people in my life.

My weekend included:
a yummy thanksgiving dinner at my dad's house - playing lots of cornhole and board games - wedding dress shopping with one of my best friends who is getting married -  lots of nap time - hunting for the perfect christmas tree - putting up decorations while listening to christmas music - date night with the bf - watching college football with friends - and finally a nice relaxing sunday at home :)
I hope you had a lovely holiday weekend as well!

home again.

I am back from a wonderful trip to Nashville and Chicago.  I had the best time visiting friends and family.  My trip included: spending some quality time with my Nana,  lunch at my late aunt's restaurant Dumplin's, a short road trip to have dinner + drinks with one of my favorite friends, wandering around lovely Franklin, TN, exploring Chicago with my "forever roomie," going out for Halloween dressed up as a crazy cat lady, an amazing dinner at Girl and the Goat, and a hilarious comedy show at Second City.

It was an amazing trip but I am so glad to be home :)

Happy first day of November!

bucket list.

skydiving- check!

Whoooh! Yesterday, I went skydiving with my dad and younger brother. It was so much fun! Well, except for the free fall part because it was really hard to breathe (which freaked me out and no one even warned us that it would be difficult to breathe!!). But after the parachute deployed (and I could breathe properly again), I really enjoyed the ride and the beautiful view. I thought I was going to be more scared than I was but it all happened so fast that I didn't really have time to get scared. It was definitely a great experience and I am so glad I got to share it with my Dad and brother :)

all grown up.

Some pictures from last weekend.  My little brother is a high school graduate.  I still can't believe it.  Time is just flying by...

On another note, I am off to Savannah, GA for a crazy bachelorette weekend with some of my favorite sorority sisters!!!!  Happy Weekend!

toast rack.

I have been hunting for a toast rack for quite some time to store my bills, stationary, etc.  And I finally found one for the right price on Etsy.  I'm so excited about my little purchase!

On another note, I had a great weekend with the BF and my family celebrating my little brother's graduation.  Maybe I'll post some pictures later this week!  Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

So happy it is Friday.  My little brother is graduating from high school this weekend!  I can't believe it.  I still think of him as a little kid but he is now getting ready for college and "the real world."

I'm excited to be spending time with my family this weekend!  Hope everyone has a lovely Memorial Day weekend!

weekend.

I am SO excited about this weekend.  I get to see some of my favorite people I don't get to see all the time.  I am a little overwhelmed by trying to spend time with everyone in just two days but that is a good problem right?!  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  Happy Friday!!!
