modern + eclectic.

I am loving this home tour from Living Etc.  It is the perfect combination of modern and eclectic.  And that closet is amazing.

Hope you all had a lovely week.  Happy Friday!

A few favorite images from the latest issue of Lonny.  I love the eclectic/funky vibe of the room in the first two images and the white walls paired with the chartreuse door in the last image.

my "weekend."

After working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I am so ready to enjoy my "weekend" today and tomorrow.  I plan on doing a lot of relaxing, finish reading The Hunger Games (I'm obsessed), a little cooking, and a little hip hop dancing.  Definitely looking forward to it :)

Happy Monday!

I am loving this tour by fruende von fruenden of Sarah Illenberger's home.  I am particularly fond of the graphic prints and the overall eclectic vibe.  You can find the rest of the tour here.

i'm in love...

...with another fabulous home tour.  This little abode belongs to Atlanta-based interior designer Claire Watkins.  I love the combination of high and low end pieces, DIY projects, and flea market finds.  Overall, very fun and eclectic....my favorite kind of space.

Happy weekend!

Sorry I have been so slack these last few days!  Life has been a little crazy/busy.  Back to regular posting tomorrow!  Happy Monday :)

angel dormer

 Obviously, when I got an email yesterday saying the new issue of Lonny was live I was ecstatic and immediately clicked on the link.  While perusing the pages I was absolutely mesmerized by the feature on Angel Dormer's home.  It has such personality.  I love the overall retro vibe.  And the artwork?  AMAZING.

color = happy

I just love color.  These rooms are so much fun with their bold use of colors.  I don't think anybody could be unhappy in one of these rooms!

for the love of tumblr

Modern.  Eclectic.  Scandinavian.  Beautiful.  I think that pretty much sums up the style of interiors porn (another one of my favorite tumblr accounts).  I love their description of interiors porn:

"You can't stop looking and start to imagine how it would feel like to live in a room like that. You drool just by looking at the textures, the colours and the light that comes from the large windows. You dream about it, you're addicted to it. Your interiors, your porn."

 So true for a design junkie like me!  If you need a little room inspiration you should definitely hit up this site.
