May your days be merry & bright!

Happy Holidays.

deck the halls.

I have been busy decorating our little house for the holidays.  It feels so festive around here now! This year I am loving simple holiday decor with a vintage flair.  These are a few fun decor finds that I have been eyeing lately.

weekend.

I had a great weekend at home with my family filled with lots presents, food, and fun times.  A perfect Christmas in my book.  Hope you all had a lovely Christmas weekend too!

Happy Monday!

the makers.

I am loving these photographs from Jennifer Causey's The Makers Project.  The project provides a glimpse into the people behind some amazing artisan-made products.  I especially love getting a sneak peek into the spaces where these creatives work.  Check out more of the project here.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  It is now less than a week until Christmas!  I just can't believe it.  Today, I will be finishing my Christmas shopping, wrapping gifts, and picking up groceries for Christmas dinner.  Happy Monday!

holiday decorating.

Over the past few years, I have been slowly collecting Christmas decorations.  I have amassed a nice collection of ornaments but I am still working on other decor for around the house.  I love vintage Christmas decorations and Etsy has the best selection around.  I got all excited and created this holiday treasury of my favorite vintage and handmade finds on Etsy.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I had a blast at my friend's wedding!  The whole thing was absolutely beautiful.  I wish I had thought to take pictures to share.  Oh well.

Happy Monday!

It's Friday!!!  I am so excited for this weekend.  One of my best friends is getting married on Saturday!  I can't wait to see her tie the knot and celebrate with some of my favorite people :)

Hope you had a great week!  Here is a little link love for you:

1. Finding lots of pretty packaging inspiration at the  Shim Tokk blog.
2. Currently listening to Christmas music on Pandora.  They have the best holiday stations!

3.  Love the gallery wall in this pretty Brooklyn Brownstone.
4.  Recently found the Odessa May Society blog- the "collection" posts are my favorite.

holiday weekend.

I can't believe the holiday weekend is already over.  I had a great Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.  I am so thankful to have such wonderful people in my life.

My weekend included:
a yummy thanksgiving dinner at my dad's house - playing lots of cornhole and board games - wedding dress shopping with one of my best friends who is getting married -  lots of nap time - hunting for the perfect christmas tree - putting up decorations while listening to christmas music - date night with the bf - watching college football with friends - and finally a nice relaxing sunday at home :)
I hope you had a lovely holiday weekend as well!

gifted.

If you need a little assistance picking out gifts during the holidays, you need to check out Gifted Magazine.  Gifted Magazine is the creation of Ez, the woman behind Creature Comforts Blog.  This holiday gift guide is full of lovely gifts for men, women, and kids.  There is even a section dedicated to the perfect stocking stuffers!   These items are just a few of my favorites from the gift guide.  Check out the rest of the great gifts here.

Happy Friday!

besotted brand.

I have been following Besotted Brand's Blog for quite some time now and have been anxiously awaiting their shop opening.  Well, the shop is now open!  I absolutely love their selection of stamps and paper goods.  Everything is so perfectly simple.  And the prices are quite reasonable as well!  I have my eye on the D.I.Y. Stationary Kit with Hello Calligraphy Stamp.  It is definitely going on my Christmas wish list.

Happy Wednesday!

monday...monday...

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  I worked Christmas Eve but made it home in time to pile in the car with my family and look at the luminaries and Christmas lights (a Christmas Eve tradition in my family).  I was off Christmas and enjoyed the day with my family (and stuffed my face with ham, sweet potato casserole, and tons of candy).

I'm off from work today and tomorrow...time for some post Christmas shopping!  I am determined to find some stuff for my new place.  I am not liking this whole transition phase and not having my home perfectly decorated.  It is like when you are growing your hair out and it is at that weird in between length that drives you crazy!

Happy Monday!

oh i almost forgot to tell you...

Guess who got this little guy as a Christmas gift?  ME.  I love it so much :)

traditional christmas

Probably just as much as I love funky/modern Christmas decor I love the traditional stuff too.  Well, I pretty much just love anything Christmas in general!  These rooms are so pretty and festive.

Just two more days until Santa comes!!!  Today I have A LOT of present wrapping to do.  My Nana is in town so she will be helping me and hanging out all day!  Then later tonight I'm going out to dinner with some of my best friends. So excited.  Happy Thursday!

monday...monday...

Monday already?!  I knocked out some holiday shopping over the weekend but I still have a few more things to pick up today :)  I can't believe Christmas is this weekend!  I know this week is just going to fly by...

I'll have some fun Christmas pictures up later this week but I have these pictures on my mind today.  I SO badly want a gallery wall in my little apartment.  I have a few pieces of art collected but not nearly enough to fill an entire wall!  That can be one of my goals for the New Year...collect enough artwork to make a gallery wall.  How is that for a New Year's resolution?

Happy Monday!
