Hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was spent planting flowers and enjoying the amazing weather. It seems I can't spend enough time outdoors these days! I am so glad Spring is officially upon us.

Admiring the simplicity in these spaces.
Hope you had a lovely weekend. I had to work on Saturday but I enjoyed my Sunday off. The BF was in town so we celebrated Valentine's day early. He surprised me with fresh flowers and the final book in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series. We went out and enjoyed lunch at the Tattooed Moose- which has become really popular all of a sudden! I guess the word is out they have the best burgers and sandwiches in town. After lunch, the BF had to go back to Charlotte so I spent the afternoon avoiding the cold weather and watched the movie Valentine's Day. Cheesy but I enjoyed it.

I love the natural element the blooming branches brings to each of these rooms. When I finally find the right piece of furniture to use as an entertainment stand, I think I will add some blooming branches in a vase on top of it. It will add some interest to the large wall in my apartment. Maybe it will distract from my hunker of an old school television too :)

spring cleaning.
This morning I cleaned out the "inspiration" folder on my computer. It is funny looking back at the things I had saved. Some of them I couldn't find a single thing I liked about them! So, off to the recycle bin they went. I did find a lot of images that I am still very much in love with. Here are some of my favorites. It appears I am into anything rustic and simplistic today.
